With so many roles and responsibilities involved with being a woman, it is hard to find time to step back and celebrate the joys of being a woman. The Women's Expo provides this opportunity. We are excited to offer this FREE event to women, the only monies you will need is if you would like to do some shopping! For past participants we are thrilled to embark on a new opportunity to host the event at the Onalaska Omni Center. We are hoping that women will enjoy the convenient parking, tasty concession choices and fun atmosphere that the Onalaska Omni Center will provide.
This year we look forward to celebrating with our FREE keynote speaker, Mary Pierce from Eau Claire, Wis. Mary Pierce tickles the funny bone as she touches hearts, offering wit and wisdom. Mary Pierce is the author of three books of inspirational humor for women:
- When Did I Stop Being Barbie and Become Mrs. Potato Head? (2003)
- Confessions of a Prayer Wimp (2005)
- When Did My Life Become a Game of Twister? (2007)
With degrees in education and business (University of Minnesota and University of Redlands), she’s worked as a stockbroker, teacher and corporate trainer and radio co-host. She’s met life’s changes and challenges with unfailing optimism, deep faith, and a lively sense of humor. She and her husband Terry share six children and seven grandchildren, and share their home with Mary’s 95-year-old mother.
